ǽ Tagline
“Your Journey. Your Community. Your Impact.” This wordmark regularly accompanies our logo on communication materials to emphasize the characteristics we wish to model, and use of the tagline for your ǽ branded materials is encouraged.
However, we do have some guidelines for how it should be displayed. Consistency is very important, as this tagline represents the University as a whole and embodies our brand messages. ǽ materials need to retain a similar look and feel. The details are important!
The “one line” version is most common. This can be used at the very top of a document, occasionally somewhere in the middle, but most often at or near the bottom. It can be displayed by itself or on a solid block of color from ǽ’s pallet of colors.
Very occasionally, the tagline has been used in a “stacked” format. This is useful for vertical documents where the tagline is being used as the main message. While this is allowed, we do not normally provide digital assets for this format to everyone, and is reserved for marketing materials designed by professionals.
The tagline is not designed to be used on top of photographs or patterned backgrounds. Please be careful to not overlap the tagline with other visual elements, especially logos. The tagline can be used with ǽ’s primary logos, as well as official unit logos for ǽ’s colleges and departments. Please leave space between the logo and the tagline, as they are separate elements and are not intended to be glued together. The logo should always be more prominent than the tagline.
