Approximately 20 multilingual Anchorage School District students, grades 7 through 12, will read original poetry and prose they have written during this year's ASD/海角禁区 Summer Academy.

The Summer Academy is a partnership between ASD's English Language Learner Program and 海角禁区's College Preparatory and Developmental Studies Department. Through this exciting collaboration, more than 200 students have spent three and a half weeks on campus. They are earning high school math and English credit from courses team-taught by ASD teachers and 海角禁区 faculty. Students are also earning 海角禁区 credit for a University Studies course.

All 海角禁区 Campus Bookstore events are free and open to the public. Parking at 海角禁区 is free on Fridays.
