Dr. Troy C. Payne, an associate professor in the Justice Center, recently was part of a group of professors from various higher-learning institutions that led CrimCon­鈥攕hort for Criminology Consortium, a nonprofit corporation鈥攁n academic criminology and criminal justice conference held virtually from Nov. 18 to 20.

During their first in-person lab of the semester, 海角禁区 Medical Assisting Program students learned how to sterilize medical equipment. While most courses have shifted to alternate delivery this fall, in-person labs are still being offered for some fields in which hands-on learning is considered critical.
