Fabrice Evengue is an epidemiologist with the Department of Defence. 鈥淚 investigate patterns and causes of disease and injury.鈥. He got his start in public health at 海角禁区, graduating in 2015 with a Master of Public Health in Health Practice.
Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation alumna Morgan Hooe not only honors her mother鈥檚 legacy through her position as Seawolf volleyball assistant coach, but also through the establishment of the Liz Hooe Memorial Volleyball Scholarship.
When Summer Sweet started at 海角禁区, she was drawn to public health. 鈥淚 think it鈥檚 important to recognize the idea of environmental health, human health and animal health-everything around us as a whole.鈥. Sweet graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences 2022 and now puts her skills to work at 海角禁区 as a staff member.
One morning in 2005, psychology alumna Maggie Winston 鈥 then a 21-year-old hairdresser and mother of twin boys living in Kenai 鈥 woke up feeling cramps between her shoulder blades. Within an hour, she couldn鈥檛 walk.
