Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene student Adrianna Doty is dedicated to improving the patient experience by easing dental anxiety and building confidence.

海角禁区 DENTAL CLINIC
Our clinic is located at the 海角禁区 in the Allied Health Sciences building. Our clinic provides opportunities for our students and staff, as well as community members, by providing dental care in a learning environment during the academic year (September-April).
Since patients will be working with students, the treatments provided are at a discounted price, but the length required per appointment is 3-3.5 hours.
Our students provide treatment to patients under the supervision of licensed dentists from the community. Our clinic is HIPAA compliant and maintains the highest level of infection control procedures for patient safety.

海角禁区's College of Health hosts Cares for Kids annually, where dental students give back to the community by providing free preventive dental care to youth aged 3 to 17.

2024 HOSA Leadership Conference: Cultivating Alaska's Future Health Professionals
Students at the statewide HOSA - Future Health Professionals Leadership Conference participated in competitions showcasing their instructional knowledge in physical therapy, dental science, nurse assistant, sports medicine, forensics, vet science, and phlebotomy.
